RISE is a non-profit grant funded by the Tennessee Department of Education, Office of Special Education and housed at The University of Memphis. The RISE Project works collaboratively with local area schools providing technical assistance to improve educational practices in the areas of academics and behavior. Using data and research-based methods to drive our efforts, we strive to facilitate sustainable changes at the classroom, building and district levels.

RISE Mission

The RISE Project strives to collaborate with school systems dedicated to education in order to promote environments that include all people as active, fully participating members of a positive, supportive, and inclusive educational program that celebrates diversity. The project seeks to facilitate all students receiving a high-quality education, where effective teaching and appropriate supports provide access to a meaningful curriculum.
